We booked both the morning and afternoon cruises with Boothbay Whale Watch and that ended up being a very good idea. The lighting was great during the morning cruise and we got to see tons of harbor seals and other sea life. The end of the afternoon cruise brought us to a friendly humpback whale that decided to play with the boat a bit. We certainly got a great show! As the other whale watch boats returned to shore, ours stayed and we enjoyed an intimate half hour with this humpback. The Boothbay Whale Watch crew went above and beyond to do this for us.
